Office and Rehearsal Space

The NDA Office, Research Lab and Rehearsal Space is situated in the old historic town centre of The Hague overlooking the picturesque 17th century “Hof van Wouw”, just a stone’s throw away from H.M. Queen Beatrix’s Palace, the Binnenhof Dutch Government buildings and the Mauritshuis.

The building itself has a history of productivity and creativity. In the 18th century it housed a silversmith’s and in the 19th century, then a residence and artists’ studio, received visits from the likes of Vincent van Gogh. Surrounded by a community of artists and artisans, the building now houses the NDA’s administrative centre, research lab, music library and rehearsal space. The NDA’s use of the premises is, in part, made financially possible by the city’s structural arts funding programme.
