Office and Rehearsal SpaceThe NDA Office, Research Lab and Rehearsal Space is situated in the old historic town centre of The Hague overlooking the picturesque 17th century “Hof van Wouw”, just a stone’s throw away from H.M. Queen Beatrix’s Palace, the Binnenhof Dutch Government buildings and the Mauritshuis. The building itself has a history of productivity and creativity. In the 18th century it housed a silversmith’s and in the 19th century, then a residence and artists’ studio, received visits from the likes of Vincent van Gogh. Surrounded by a community of artists and artisans, the building now houses the NDA’s administrative centre, research lab, music library and rehearsal space. The NDA’s use of the premises is, in part, made financially possible by the city’s structural arts funding programme.
DirectionsThe NDA Office, Research Lab and Rehearsal Space can easily be reached by car and by public transport. It is conveniently located two tram stops away from Den Haag Centraal (Train) Station. Take tram 2, 3, 4 or 6 from Den Haag Centraal Station into the centre of the city and alight at the stop “Grote Markt”. Walk (in the direction of the tram) up the stairs in front of you. You are on the Prinsegracht. Turn left into the first side-street in front of you, which is already the Lange Beestenmarkt. The Office and Rehearsal Space is 50 metres up the street, on your left hand side. Get directions to the NDA Office and Rehearsal Space from Googlemaps
